House with Nine Rooms

Using only the image titled “house with 9 rooms” as inspiration I was tasked to create a three dimensional space and scene. Fist I interpreted the inside of the house into a formal shape using the image and modeling it in Rhino. After the initial design I went back and modeled the surrounding landscape. I cut a section in Rhino and rendered each piece separately so I could overlay them in Adobe Photoshop with different transparencies. I multiplied a texture to the landscape and added trees to the edge of the background. To make the landscape pop a little more I added the contour lines built made in Rhino and overlaid them into the image using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. As a final step I made a vignette using a low opacity around the edges of the scene.
